Here’s what you need to know…

Where are you based and do you travel for destination weddings?

We are based in the inner city suburbs of Sydney, Australia. Whilst Sydney is our home, you will also find us working on weddings and events across Australia and the world. Travel fees are dependent on location. This includes, airfares, accommodation and car hire. We prefer to be open and transparent with you if any travel is required from the moment you enquire with us to ensure we establish a positive relationship.

How long have you been in business and what is your experience?

Poonam has worked in the events, hospitality and tourism industry since 2010. She has worked in Melbourne (Australia), Cork (Ireland) and Sydney (Australia) across a range of different industries. She has a strong knowledge of all things related to weddings and the wedding industry, having interned with well-renowned wedding and event professionals. She has been in business officially now, since 2017. From running a highly popular wedding blog, to now planning events full-time.

Her design work has been featured in reputable local and international bridal publications and more recently she’s publicly hosted webinars and penned articles discussing multicultural weddings and inclusivity in the industry.

She is passionate about weddings and believes in creating out of the box stylish and memorable experiences to last a lifetime.

What sort of style of weddings do you plan?

We have a very eclectic style aesthetic, meaning that we can easily flow from minimalistic to lush romantic, rustic or vintage, traditional infused with modern touches. You’ll always get the best of both worlds with Poonam and her team.

At the end of the day though, the main source of inspiration is always you – the couple, because that immediately gives us a unique angle to work from.

What is the difference between planning and coordination?

Full wedding and event planning services involves a lot of logistics. We dedicate a number of hours determining your wedding theme to
guiding you with your budget and booking your venue and suppliers as well as negotiating contracts and agreements. We share our expertise and
knowledge with you across all areas of your wedding. Styling and design services as well as on the day management services are also included. If you need to organise rehearsals too, no stress, we have that covered as well.

On the other hand, wedding coordination (or on the day management) is when we manage your wedding or event in a limited capacity, a few months out from your wedding day. We really don’t want you to be an event manager at your own wedding, so we will take care of all the details in the lead up to your big day. Our job is to liaise with every supplier as well as your venue coordinator to work out the structure and logistics on the day. We also include a detailed run sheet which will also be circulated to every vendor involved at your wedding.

What if I have already booked my wedding venue or other suppliers?

No worries at all! We work with couples at any stage of their wedding planning. Or even if you have no idea where to start, we can help you build that vision from the beginning, middle or even closer to the final stages.

How many weddings or events do you work on each year?

We work on only a handful of events in a year, so it’s great if you can get in touch right away.

Do you have an insurance policy?

Yes, we are fully insured.

How much should I expect to budget for?

We highly recommend creating your guest list first and then proceed with budget planning. The average you can expect to pay per-person for a sit down event at a premium wedding venue is around $200. So, in that respect, it’s important to consider the price per person.

Poonam and her team work with events of all sizes and guest counts, so contact us to figure out if your budget expectations are in line with your
vision.

Do you plan any other events?

Yes, we love a reason to celebrate anything! From birthday parties, engagements or proposals to private at home dinner parties, contact us today to find out more.

Where do you stand on florals at your wedding? Ad Where do you stand on florals at your wedding?

Adding flowers to your wedding not only enhances the beauty of the occasion, but also symbolizes growth, love, and new beginnings!

Love how Priya and Blake gave us creative freedom to design their floral backdrops, centrepieces, cake florals and garlands for their wedding day. Of course, we had a fab team of pros to bring this vision to live.

What do you think of the colour palette though? Dreamy right?

If you were to describe your perfect Valentine’s Day, how would it look?

Personally I am a hopeless romantic and so I love spoiling myself with either a sweet treat or cooking a lovely dinner for my better half. ❤️

Now it’s your turn. Spill the beans (or roses 🌹) 😉

How beautiful is this invitation? I don't know ab How beautiful is this invitation?

I don't know about you, but I love a gorgeous wedding invitation, especially when it's captured from this angle!

Your wedding invitation suite introduces your guests to the style of your big day/days. It creates a sense of anticipation of what is to come at the celebration, so make it memorable for your guests.

Loved how Samiha and Mishkat entrusted the help of myself and the wonderful @invitesbyveasnachea to bring their ideas together for their wedding invitation. If it wasn’t for their input though, in particular design and colours, we wouldn’t have been able to pull this off. Team effort!

Don’t forget, creating an invitation actually requires weeks and months of preparation and work behind the scenes. We gather all your wedding ideas, determine the colour palette for each event and then the fun part, decision making process! This is the level of quality our planning clients have grown to expect from us.

So tell me, are you excited to design your wedding invitations?

It’s that time again, when we start feeling refl It’s that time again, when we start feeling reflective and looking back on the year that was..

Here are just a few highlights from some of the beautiful weddings I have worked on, some personal milestones and I’m also filling you all in on some exciting news for 2023.

💫 We kicked off January with a prestigious book launch at Sofitel Darling Harbour, featuring local and international delegates. We were quite chuffed to be honest that we managed to screen a recorded video message from former President and Prime Minister of East Timor, Xanana Gusmao and current President of East Timor, Dr José Ramos-Horta.
💫 Weddings were back baby! From planning a beautiful 3 day Bengali wedding at the beginning of the year to coordinating and styling our second Melbourne wedding and an epic 4 day Bengali wedding in regional New South Wales, it truly was quite special.
💫 I made a brief come back on the blogging scene and published my first article in a pretty long time. I was thrilled to be asked to pen an article for one of my favourite online wedding publications, Polka Dot Wedding.
💫 We finally went on a holiday after 4 long years! Like so many other Aussies, we traveled to Europe and visited my in-laws in Singapore. Hubby and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary. Boy was it hot though!
💫 I made a lot of new friends and built new industry connections along the way. One of the highlights was finally meeting a few extremely talented ladies, who I had connected with virtually during the lockdowns. Shout out to @decorasian_uk @niche_weddings @theweddingtouchuk and @anjlislookbook for spending time with me in London back in July.
💫 This milestone kind of slipped my mind to be completely honest with you, but I finally celebrated 5 years in business. It’s been a wild ride and there’s so much more to look forward to, including a destination wedding in Bali in 2023!

To all my amazing clients, beautiful and talented colleagues and partners, my supporters and friends, from the bottom of my heart, thanks for all your continued support. It’s been an honour to serve you. Wishing you happy holidays and happy new year! See you back on the ‘gram bigger and better in 2023.

Strange how I happen to have a wardrobe full of Moira Rose-esque items!

I got 4 this year. 😬👇🏽

2. Photographer changes the coordinator’s run sheet on wedding day
3. Mum acting crazy on wedding day
4. Raw meat served at pre-wedding event

Have a guess if any of these are actually true? What do you think?? 🎃

Oh, the places you’ll go! Since moving back to Oh, the places you’ll go!

Since moving back to Australia (I lived in Ireland for 3.5 years before Sydney FYI), I haven't had a proper break to be honest. This week I'm off to Europe and Singapore to catch up with family and just simply breathe.

Today I'm grateful that after a long and gruelling 4 year break, I'm finally on a vacation!

I started this business with the intention of broadening my horizons, but it’s taken me so much further! What a gift!

On that note, where’s your favourite place to travel? ✈️
